Our Staff
Dr. Scott Buonanno graduated from Fairfield University in 1987 with a B.S. in Biology, and in 1991, graduated from the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine and received his DMD degree. Five years later, he joined the practice of Dr. Derrol Rudnick, and shortly afterwards, became the sole provider at the practice.
Dr. Buonanno is always seeking additional training and education to provide his patients with cutting-edge, complete dental care. He is certified in surgical placement and restoration of implants and was
one of the first clinicians in Connecticut to implement the
use of CEREC 3 technology.
Dr. Buonanno sums up his
practice philosophy: “It has always bothered me that people find taking care of their teeth to be so intimidating. With a little TLC, some humor, and some really great technology, we can make it easier for our patients to have the smiles they have always wanted.”
It is Laura’s sincere smile and cheerful personality that welcome all our patients into our office.
With over 35 years of experience in dental field, Laura oversees patient scheduling, treatment planning, and assists patients with insurance plans and payment options.
Laura is always ready to answer any questions you have.
Jane is a Fairleigh Dickinson University graduate and has been practicing dental hygiene for 40 years and a member of Dr. Buonanno’s team for the
last 15 years.
Jane loves working in family dentistry and always promotes good dental health and hygiene.
Sarah
Dental Assistant
Sarah attended a dental assistant program at the Connecticut School of Professional Studies and is the newest member to our staff.
She assists Dr. Buonanno with all procedures in addition to helping Laura with clerical duties.
Sarah loves her job and is passionate about making each patient’s time in the office comfortable, fun, and educational through her energetic personality.
Yvette has been a dental hygienist for 26 years and with Dr. Buonanno for 9 years. She attended the University of Bridgeport and is certified to administer local anesthesia.
Her focus is periodontal therapy and top periodontal care. Her motto is: “A healthy mouth is a healthy body.”
